We have a private rear room for parties of up to 50 people & our front dining room can be rented out also & holds up to 100 people. Perfect for stand up events & family parties.

Have sushi italiano catered to your guests. It is a nifty innovative Italian sushi, created with italian ingredients & most of them are non raw items. The sushi rolls pictured to the left are our famous calamari rolls. They are filled with a spicy avocado puree & dressed with our garlic aioli & comes with a small salad in the middle.

Sushi Italiano Launch Party @ Alessio Restaurant 426 is a Hit!

The Sushi Italiano launch party was a hit on July 3rd @ Alessio's in metuchen. The event featured the cuisine created by Chef Jimmy Trabelsi & an official look into the menu & presentation of the dishes was presented to the crowd. We are happy to say that we had a head count of 125 people. The sushi italiano t-Shirts provided by our good friend Tito Lajterman came in fresh that day & we will be making another batch for all of those who did not recieve one.

Sushi Italiano is now on our dinner menu but it is still in its experimental form. Chef Jimmy Trabelsi feels that it is not yet perfected to his expectations. We were able to get really good feedback from the launch party & picked 6 rolls that the crowd favored most.
We wanted to thank all of you guys that showed support on that night & would like everyone to wear their sushi italiano t-shirts proudly. In about a week, the restaurant is going to be launching another sushi italiano campaign, once the menu is ready to be served for lunch. Enjoy the pictures.

New Dinner Menu @ Alessio 426 Italian Restaurant in Metuchen New Jersey

With the summer here Alessio Restaurant 426 an Northern Italian cuisine restaurant in Metuchen, nj has release their new dinner menu. Our new menu includes new items such as our new Watermelon Salad which is dresses with feta, watercress, mint & red wine vinaigrette. Along with the new dishes a whole new form of sushi is created called Sushi Italiano.
Our famous home made pastas are back with newly designed recipes such as Penne with shrimp alla puttanesca, as well as our favorites such as the lazy ravioli & tagliatelle.
Among other new dishes is our most unique dish which is a Calf Liver Alla Veneziana. Sauteed calf liver with crispy bacon & sauteed onions.

Sushi Italiano. New Creation by Alessio 426 in Metuchen, NJ

Alessio Restaurant 426 located in Main st. Metuchen, Nj has come up with something new for the summer. We call it Sushi Italiano. It is an exclusive form of sushi using ingredients native to Italy.
Instead of the traditional sushi white rice, we use alessio delicious risotto. Rather than seaweed we use items like romaine lettuce, zucchini & prosciutto. Our rolls are created with the same presentation as sushi, but we provide the widely loved tastes of italian food all in one bite. Our Fried Calamari rolls with spicy avocado puree are to die for & so are our prosciutto university rolls with prosciutto, roasted peppers & home made mozzarella. We also include different Alessio sauces that are fully original & compliment the "sushi italiano"; also allowing you to customize the flavors. Think that this might not be something you'd like to try? Then maybe you might want to try it as an appetizer & order off of our Zagat rated menu. Our Italian food is what put us on the map, perhaps this could be a good place for a couple who likes sushi & italian food!
